DAYUM, yummy!! Yesterday, Mr. ABF cooked up an enormous pot of homemade jarred tomato sauce with meatballs and sausage, and we served it all with pasta to a dozen neighbors who came over for dinner and football/baseball. Tonight is leftovers as Bella has recently discovered the meatball sub.
Applebee's. After fighting, begging, bribing my 5 yr old to eat last night after cooking a delicious homemade chicken pot pie, I said screw it I am not doing all of that again and we went out LOL
kal...i'm not a fan of leftover pasta...and i am OBSESSED with pasta. i have learned, however, that if you use barilla plus pasta it will be even more delicious leftover!! it's made from chickpea flour and stuff, higher protein content, etc (so, better for you) and eerily tastes not that different from regular white pasta (unlike whole wheat pasta...not so yum). anyway, if i make soup, i use the barilla plus...and i only eat barilla plus leftover pasta!! doesn't get mushy!! (ok, end of my pasta schpiell....HAHAHA!!!)
When I started this blog I was a mom to two amazing and yes, at times annoying, kids. C1, my son, is 12 and C2, my daughter, is 8. Me and DH have been together for 16 years, married for 13. We felt ordinary and yet still special with our life, and then we found ourselves living in the "club"...not what we had planned.
Now, I am a mom to three beautiful children who live with me in the here and now. I have been lucky enough to bring a new son into our lives, and I am learning to live without the one son who will only ever live in my heart, but I know, he will live there forever.
